- 100 gMargarine (or unsalted butter)
- 100 gIcing sugar
- 1/2 tspVanilla essence

Soften margarine at room temperature — it should be pliable, not melted.

Beat margarine 2 minutes until pale and fluffy.

Add icing sugar in 3 batches, beating each in until smooth.

Add vanilla. Beat another minute. Store in fridge, soften before using.
