Ingredients

  • 500 mlVanilla ice-cream base (see recipe), 1/2 batch
  • 2Meetha paan, chopped
  • 1/2 tbspGulkand
  • 1/8 tspPan essence
  • 1 tbspTutti frutti
  • 1 tspSaunf (fennel seeds)
  • a pinchDry rose petals
  • a few dropsGreen food colour

Method

    Stir gulkand, pan essence and a couple drops of green colour into the vanilla base.

    Fold in chopped meetha paan, tutti frutti, saunf and rose petals — don't over-mix, you want visible bits.

    Pour into a freezer-safe container. Freeze 8 hours.
