- 500 mlMilk
- 125 gDark chocolate, chopped
- 4 tbspSugar
- 2 tbspCornflour
- 1/4 tspVanilla essence
Method

In a heavy pan, whisk milk, cornflour and sugar.

Bring to a low boil, stirring continuously, till just thickened.

Off heat, add chopped dark chocolate and vanilla essence. Stir until the chocolate melts in fully.

Cool to room temperature. Blend smooth.

Pour into containers and freeze for 4 hours. Use as the base for chocolate-flavoured thick shakes.
