Ingredients

  • 1 cupSugar
  • 1/2 cupFresh cream
  • 1 tbspButter
  • 1/2 tspSea salt flakes

Method

    Melt sugar on low until deep amber. Don't stir; swirl the pan.

    Add butter and stir to dissolve.

    Slowly drizzle in cream while whisking continuously.

    Off the heat, stir in sea salt flakes. The salt should still be visible as little crunchy flecks. Cool.
