Ingredients

  • 500 mlVanilla ice-cream base
  • 1 tspOrange emulsion or essence
  • 1/3 cupFresh orange juice
  • 1/8 tspCitric acid
  • 1/2 tspOrange zest

Method

    Reduce the orange juice in a small pan on low for 3 minutes — concentrates the flavour. Cool.

    Stir cooled juice + orange emulsion + citric acid + zest into the vanilla base.

    Freeze 8 hours.
