Ingredients

  • 500 mlVanilla ice-cream base
  • 1 tbspRed velvet emulsion (optional)
  • a few dropsRed food colour
  • 1 tspVanilla essence
  • 2 tbspCream cheese

Method

    Tint the vanilla base with red colour. If using red-velvet emulsion, skip the separate colour + essence — emulsion has both.

    Soften cream cheese; whisk smooth. Swirl into the base for a marbled white-and-red effect.

    Freeze 8 hours.
