Spiced Chilli Chocolate Truffles

Spicy whisky liqueur chocolate — a tiny shot of whisky with a chilli kick, sealed in chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 100 gDark chocolate, melted
  • 1 tspWhisky
  • 1 tspHoney or milkmaid
  • 1 dropChilli essence (oil-based)
  • a small pinchChilli flakes

Method

    Mix whisky, honey and chilli essence.

    Pour melted chocolate into deep mould cavities, coating the sides. Refrigerate 5 minutes.

    Add a tiny pinch of chilli flakes to each shell. Spoon 1/2 tsp of the whisky mix on top.

    Cover with more melted chocolate to seal. Tap gently.

    Refrigerate 30 minutes till fully set. Demould carefully.
