Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks

The pizzeria-side classic — soft pizza-dough breadsticks brushed with garlic butter, topped with grated mozzarella, baked till bubbly. Served with marinara dip.

Ingredients

  • 1 batchPizza dough
  • 4 tbspButter, softened
  • 2 tbspGarlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tbspParsley or coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 tspMixed herbs
  • 1 cupMozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 tspOregano
  • 1/2 tspChilli flakes
  • 1/2 tspSalt
  • 1/2 cupMarinara sauce (for dipping)

Method

    Preheat oven to 220°C.

    Whisk softened butter with chopped garlic, parsley, mixed herbs and salt into a garlic butter.

    Roll the pizza dough into a 9-inch round on parchment. Brush generously with garlic butter.

    Top with grated mozzarella. Sprinkle oregano and chilli flakes.

    Bake 8-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly with golden spots and the base is crisp underneath.

    Cut into thick breadsticks. Serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping.
